A birthday, a family lunch or a work dinner is easier in a room of your own. The country pubs and mills around Guildford and the Surrey Hills have more of these than you might expect, from a twelve-seat room in a 16th-century pub to a suite for a hundred in a riverside mill.
Every capacity below comes from the venue's own website, checked in October 2026. Some spaces are fully separate rooms and some are semi-private areas within the pub, and we say which. None of the venues publishes a minimum spend, so ask about that when you enquire.
