Private Dining Rooms in Esher, Cobham and Elmbridge

Six pubs, restaurants and a riverside hotel with a room for your group, with seated numbers, minimum spends where published, and how to book.

Editorial Staff · 11 October 2026 · 5 min read

Elmbridge packs a lot of good pubs and restaurants into a small patch of north Surrey, and several of them have a room you can take over for a birthday, a family lunch or a work dinner. This guide covers six, in Esher, West End, Claygate, Oxshott, Cobham and East Molesey.

Every capacity and price below comes from the venue's own website, checked in October 2026. Where a venue doesn't publish a number, we say so rather than guess. Only one of the six publishes a minimum spend, so ask about that when you enquire.

Before you book

Ask about minimum spends and room hire, since only The Wheatsheaf publishes its terms. Check whether a space is a fully separate room or an area within the restaurant if privacy matters. Most of these venues ask for a set or sharing menu to be chosen in advance, often a week before.
